Sailing School for Children

The sport of sailing stands out from other outdoor sports due to its continuous connection with many natural factors such as wind, waves, currents, tides, thermal phenomena, disturbances, rain, etc., which in jargon are defined as “weather-marine conditions

The learning of this fascinating sport also involves the acquisition of basic theoretical concepts related to the knowledge of winds, safety at sea, boat and equipment nomenclature, knots, etc.

For these notions, which we consider fundamental for the practice of this sport, we propose lessons that include a theoretical part and a practical one at sea daily.

However, it is important to underline that the lessons of the various courses, planned well in advance, could undergo changes in the conduct, precisely due to the aforementioned “weather-marine conditions“.

The daily lesson could therefore be structured with more hours dedicated to theory, or more time for practical training at sea; alternatively, if the “weather-marine conditions” were not deemed safe by the instructors, the lesson could be entirely dedicated to theoretical and playful activities
